Stardust

They lied.

They lied when they said if you aspire to have something, you will always have it.

Of all the aspirations anyone could have, of all the aspirations I could have had, to see the world crumble, the world where You once lived, would not even have been my last thought. It could not be anybody's, possibly and most likely.

Now, the world where You and I once lived has stopped existing. Nevertheless, You will forever live in every speck of my shattered existence of dust.

The stardust in me will always find the stardust in You. They are destined.

Forelsket

The night brightened, the lightning smiled,

The thunder cooed, the sky was beguiled,
With the ambrosia from clouds, the earth was styled,
The air was perfumed and the Sunflower bud shined.

The bud bloomed, as the summer sang,
Far from the east, the ray of Sun sprang,
With a unique charm, embraced the Sunflower,
And adore of all the worlds he did shower.

Enamoured as one could be, the Sunflower has been...
Vowed her Love for eternities,
More than forever could have ever seen...
For theirs is a story, that Time has destined.

The Cave

Meeting You

Was discovering

An unexplored cave in the wild.

Unintended. Unexpected.

(To say the least.)

It was so unfamiliar

Even though the cave fit

Almost perfectly

With the place where it was.

I was supposed to steer clear

Of the unknown

I was supposed to not dwell

In the woods either

I was supposed to avoid a venture.

Any venture.

Not anymore.

Not once more.

Yet I found myself marvelling

At the intricacies...

The light and the dark.

I walked in the paths

Laced with the fragrances

Of the flowers I revered

Of the sunlight I held dear

And of a mystical camphor-like breeze

That seemed to sooth my soul.

I knew I was there

But just to witness

The quirks of nature.

I knew I was there

But just to admire

The painter's work

As the colors blended

To form her heart's desire.

I knew I would recede my steps.

Sooner..

And wouldn't go any further.

But quirkiness

Has always been nature's nature

And vivacity

The artist's muse.

So I journeyed on

As the unclaimed paths in the cave

Claimed me as their own

I have gone

On and on

Discovering new flowers

And butterflies previously unknown

It still is a cave

With untraversed paths

And yet newer turns

Now I don't see a path

That returns

Is it because there isn't one

Or is it because

It's not what I seek anymore?

So, I keep going..

Exploring

The never ending abode

Of the cave

Because

Meeting You

Was discovering

An unexplored cave in the wild.

Unintended. Unexpected.

But

Knowing You

Is the journey I take

To explore the cave in the light.

Desired. Wished.

All she wanted was to love

But how could she

Knowing what it could have done

All she wanted was to console them

But how could she

Knowing that her hug would be shunned

Love is all she was

So she withdrew to corners

Where she would be hard to find

Until You found her

And she sparkled

Like the bejeweled stars

Yes, she melted

But she melted in Love

And she loved like Love never could

She danced

And dazzled and glistened with You

She glimmered and shimmered

And blushed when she knew

That she was destined

Destined With You

That's where your story began

For she was Ice

And You were the sun

While nonchalantly stroking Your hair
With a blushing warmth
Adorning your eyes
And I realized one more time

The moments of the farewell

They gladly embraced

For they know they have avowed

For their destinies to be interlaced

There might be distances

Either spatial or temporal

But this "us" is forever and eternal

Vivacious than a thousand rainbows

But gentler than the breeze

That can soothe your being

But make your heart skip a beat

That has the passion of the waves

But is balming like flowery days

Enough to make you experience

The immenseness of Love.

Cosmos Rays

Once upon a moon, I wandered

Deep in the tall grey forest

It was never a journey

I wished to take

Yet I never wondered

Why I was there

It was calm everywhere

Enough of it to hear

The rustle of the leaves

Yet I never listened

My thoughts,

if there were any,

Hovered around

In a brownian motion

As they meandered in the

Flickering light of the glow worms

Then on a morning like any other

You shined on me, like the

First rays from the brilliant sun

From far across the mountains

With your smile

Sweeter than ambrosia

And your snuggling grasp

Softer than the breeze

You showed me the path

I had long forgotten

And as we walked through

The field of the Cosmos flowers

I could feel my heart beat again

To the melody of your breath

Azaleas

Merely meandering

Through a lawn of Lilies

In the sun, shining

A charming strand of Azaleas

Got my eyes beaming

Perfumed the air

With a deep blush smile

Entranced, I stayed put

For more than a while

Was it forever and a day

Or was it just a blink

It felt everything and more

In those shades of pink

Longer I may stay

Or journey on, I may

But that Love is my home

Azaleas,

That is where my heartbeats lay.

The beam traversed

A thousand light years.

Not knowing

If its existence

Will ever be felt.

It just knew that it needs

To illuminate its destination.

Even if it was for

A fraction of a second.

Even if the destination wasn't

Even aware of the source.

It's the journey

Of that beam

That mattered to it.

For it was its destiny.
