Eternal

The yellow sunflowers
In the sprawling fields
Glanced at the glowing horizon
As the sun set beyond the goldfields

The moments of the farewell
They gladly embraced
For they know they have avowed
For their destinies to be interlaced

There might be distances
Either spatial or temporal
But this "us" is forever and eternal
