Home

The day weighed down
Like a rain cloud
I knew not where to start
And where to wind up
I knew not what to do
And what to think either.

Then there you were
With a serious look
Adorning your face
Even then there were hints
Of nonchalance in your demeanor
And an adorable look
In your warm eyes
Unperturbed by the ways of the world
Yet with a wisdom rare seen.

Just a look was enough
To calm things down
And hark me back
To where I belong
I could see light again
And breath a sigh of relief
I could rest a while
Until I regain to take things on
In every sense, you truly are my home.

Not a Rainbow

This can't be a rainbow
For a rainbow has a beginning
And it has an end too
It comes magically
Eventually it goes too
But This
Defines so much more
That a rainbow
Has ever drew.

This can't be a rainbow
For a rainbow has colors
That flow
Just the few till crest though
It is beautiful with zest
Stays for moments at best
But This
Has an enigmatic hue
That a rainbow could ever sew.

Beyond the span of this
And the countless other universes
Beyond the realm of colors
And multitude expanses
This spells so much more
Than a rainbow can ever store.
